KFAW Concluded an Agreement on Exchange and Cooperation with Incheon Development Institute (September 1, 2011)

IDI-KFAW Meeting_201109.jpg On September 1st, KFAW visited Incheon Development Institute (IDI), one of the affiliated organizations with the metropolitan government, to conclude an agreement on Exchange and Cooperation for promoting a gender-equal society.
  Kitakyushu city has had a sister city relationship with Incheon Metropolitan city since 1988. We have established a good relationship through various exchange programs.
 Taking advantage of this agreement, KFAW will exchange experiences and information for the common issues.

 


Incheon Development Institute (IDI)

IDI was established in 1996. Their main function is to analyze Incheon’s urban structure, economic and social conditions, and future outlook. The IDI provides preemptive and realistic policy alternatives based on its in-depth study of Incheon’s current issues. Currently IDI consists of General Planning Division; Policy Research Division; Secretariat; and three Centers including Incheon Women’s Policy Center which carries out researches related to women’s policies and develops educational programs for promoting women’s rights and social status.
