KFAW held a presentation meeting for country reporters who participated in the 1st JICA Seminar on Women in Environment and Development II.

During the meeting, local citizens and JICA trainees exchanged views on relevant issues. For local citizens, the opportunity to hear JICA trainees report on conditions in their respective countries deepened their knowledge about environment, development and gender issues that concern Japan and other countries in the world. This process generated a feeling that all participants were working together to tackle the same issues.

Countries of trainees:
Chad, Eritrea, Malawi, Malaysia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Vanuatu
